Save from the Chrome extension
Clip the current page to Drock without leaving the browser.
Connect the extension to your account
Load the Chrome extension, sign in, and confirm it is pointed at the same Drock base URL you use in the app.
Save the current page
With the page open in your browser, use the extension popup to send the link into Drock.
Recommended workflow
- Open the page you want to keep
- Choose the target collection in the popup
- Confirm the save before closing the extension
Check the saved item in Drock
After the extension sends the link, the saved item should appear in the selected collection with the same URL and preview metadata as a manual save.
If the extension cannot save
Verify you are signed in, confirm the configured base URL, and make sure the current domain is allowed when you are not working on localhost.
Wrong environment is the common failure
If the extension points to a different Drock instance than your active session, the save request can fail even though your login looks valid in the browser.
