Create and organize collections
Group related links so your vault stays navigable as it grows.
Start with clear collection names
Collections should describe the outcome or topic of the saved links, not an internal project code that only one person understands.
Move links into the right buckets early
Drock scales better when links are sorted while you save them instead of during a large cleanup later.
Good collection patterns
- Client research
- Product inspiration
- Internal references
Avoid overloaded buckets
A single catch-all collection turns search into your only navigation tool. Split long-running topics into focused groups before the list becomes noisy.
Use nested structure only when needed
Drock supports nested collections, but keep the hierarchy shallow. Readers should not need several clicks to reach a frequently used set of links.
Keep structure readable
If someone new to the workspace can guess where a link belongs, your collection naming is doing its job.
