Import & Find

Import bookmarks from bookmarks.html

Move browser bookmarks into Drock in one pass.

Export your browser bookmarks first

From your browser, export your saved bookmarks as a bookmarks.html file before starting the import inside Drock.

Use the import dialog in Drock

Upload the exported HTML file from the import flow and let Drock parse the bookmark entries.

Best practices before importing

  • Remove obvious duplicates if the file is already messy
  • Keep the file under the supported size limit
  • Import into a workspace where you can reorganize comfortably afterward

After import, check titles, destination URLs, and collection placement. Imported data is only as clean as the source browser export.

Clean up after the import

A large import is usually followed by merging duplicates, renaming collections, and moving links into a cleaner long-term structure.

Browser folders rarely map perfectly
Imported bookmark folders are a starting point, not a final information architecture. Expect a short cleanup pass after import.
